DC53 with superior toughness, wear resistance, temper resistance and strength than D2 is available in a wide variety of sizes available form International Mold Steel, Inc and its stocking distributor, Alro Steel. DC53 is ideally suited for both mold and metal forming applications and exhibits excellent Machining, Grinding, and Wire EDM characteristics.

Sizes available in stock: 

  • Centerless Ground Rounds
    ¼” to 5/8” diameter
  • Round Bar from 7/8” to 20” diameter 12’ to 15’ long.
  • Flats 1/2” to 5” thick plate up to 16” wide and 12’ to 15’ long
  • Forged plate to 12" thick by 31" wide up to 96" long
