I am
writing this letter to inform you that we have been very pleased
with the performance of the Daido DH31S Material that we have been
using on fragile die cast die components that undergo abnormal,
thermal abuse during the die casting process. Although the cost of
material is higher than the other modified H13 materials that we
have experimented with in our R&D studies over the years, the
extended tooling life has performed to an extent that justifies
the additional costs up front. By using Daido DH31S material
combined with EDCO’s advanced heat treating and machining methods
we have been able to successfully and continually outperform the
competition.
